O'Donnell receives endorsements from key law enforcement associations

Goshen, NY (November 1st) -- The O’Donnell campaign today released the endorsements of two prestigious law enforcement associations: the Corrections Officers’ Benevolent Association and the Orange County Deputy Sheriffs Police Benevolent Association.

Jeremy Yela, Vice President of the Orange County Deputy Sheriffs PBA, had the following to say of Mr. O’Donnell’s candidacy: “We know that with your experience, knowledge and public service that you are the right candidate for the position. You are a dedicated civic leader in your community and we are assured you will move the 18th Congressional District forward in hopes of getting New York State back on track.”

“We feel there is no candidate better suited to serve the 18th Congressional District than Jim O’Donnell,” said Rafael Marquez, President of the Orange County Corrections Officers Benevolent Association. “It is with great pride we endorse his candidacy. We were introduced to Jim not just as a distinguished member of the law enforcement community, but as a public servant who was committed to his family and the residents and employees of Orange County. He has always assisted us with honesty and respect.”

“It is an honor and a privilege to have so much support from the law enforcement community,” said Mr. O’Donnell. “No one knows better than me the sacrifices they make every day to serve us, and they deserve a Congressman who is focused more on delivering for them than on his own ambitions. There is so much stake in this election -- we must send a message that we are tired of partisanship and obstructionist politicians and want results.”
